For several years, I've been searching for The Richbourg "Coat of Arms". Not being sure if I really remembered seeing one or just imagined seeing one during earlier research forays. The links below represent what I have found. But, please note that they have not been authenticated any further than the websites they appear on... This means I have not vetted these with the Coat of Arms police. Smile

(Blason originally comes from a heraldic term in French heraldry and means either the codified description of a coat of arms or the coat of arms itself.)

Search for the term 'blason richebourg' returned the following results...

Also found this: Similar to the first Blason above.

Blason de RICHEBOURG (Pas-de-Calais)

Origin/meaning :
The arms were adopted in 1971 and combine the arms of the two historical Lords of the two villages. The lords of Richebourg-l'Avoué were the Lords of Béthune, who used 5 golden bends in blue. Richebourg-Saint-Vaast was owned by the St. Vaast Abbey, which used a red cross in gold.

Literature : Bréemersch et al., 1996
